why isnt it friday? then again does it matter.

Jong Hyun just started his military service. Seems like eons ago when i did mine. I actually enjoyed my 2 years of service despite the many bullshit I had to go through in between.

For one, I think I quite balanced the 'try-hard' mentality with the 'slacker' personality. Eventually ending up with a vocation that is actually not too bad and I got to travel! Twice!

Hope all is going well for you. Looking forward to your correspondence.

I miss loads of things.

Especially lying down on the open ground and looking at the universe staring down at us.

The comfort zone, a place people desire yet do not actively seek for.

When one is comfortable, it means everything is mundane, going smooth without blemish. Predictable. Fixed. Nothing is seemingly out of place. No risk.

But what does it take for one to become in that state? It differs from person to person; but i definitely know what works for me.

Then again, nothing ventured, nothing gained. We should always seek to get out of our comfort zone.

Its been awhile now. But let me, just let me stay in here for a while longer.

The point is, not to resist the flow. You go up when you're supposed to go up and down when you're supposed to go down. When you're supposed to go up, find the highest tower and climb to the top. When you're supposed to go down, find the deepest well and go down to the bottom. When there's no flow, stay still. If you resist the flow, everything dries up. If everything dries up, the world is darkness.

ideals are peaceful, history is violent.

history is being made now, but we do not feel it, because it seems another world away. we don't feel it. Even if we do, its not as much as when we do experience it.

on a lighter note, i miss europe.

One year ago, at this exact moment, i watched the fireworks go off over the bay together with you. Filled with hope, love and expectancy for the coming year. But things never go our way do they.

One year on, i am back to where i am two years ago. Yet this time, I know I truly no longer hope or desire.
